I require payment using the Square payment processing service (similar to PayPal) using a debit or credit card. Clients will receive an electronic invoice via email after each tutorial, and a receipt for payment is given. Payment is due within 48 hours.
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. If a cancellation is made on the day of tuition I will try to rearrange an alternative date (however, this may not be possible if I am fully booked). If an alternative date cannot be found, I will charge my full hourly rate (cancellations due to a bereavement or emergency will not be charged).
If a student does not turn up for a prearranged tutorial that has not been cancelled, I will charge my full hourly rate.
If I cancel for any reason I will try and rearrange. If this is not possible (for the student or myself), tuition will recommence at the next session. If lessons have been paid for in advance, I will refund the money in full via the Square payment processing system.
If termination of regular tuition sessions is requested for whatever reason, I require an email or phone message. However, if termination is requested within 24 hours of a session, as per the cancellation policy, I will charge the full fee for the missed session. I reserve the right to terminate tuition if lessons have been cancelled on a regular basis and to offer the time slot to another client.
